I have always been a TV fan. In some ways, it has been that friend that never falls away. You can flip it on and find all sorts of entertainment. But if you are not careful, it can consume you and your time… However, there are great things out there to watch and even be inspired by.
My favorite right now is The Biggest Loser. I caught a few episodes over the years, but never really watched it until recently. I found old seasons on Hulu + and have watched a bunch. Probably too much, but that is me… Always going overboard.
My encouragement to you is to find something that inspires you to greatness and your fitness goals. It may be a TV show. It may be a magazine. It may be a person. Find it and use it to remind you of what you want to accomplish and what can be accomplished. Watching overweight people sweat, cry, and struggle on national television reminds me of where I could have ended up and what it takes to remain healthy.
Nobody wants to be called a “Loser,” but it might be cool to be “The Biggest Loser.”
